How did you meet?
Our first contact was via a very romantic Tinder match. We happened to notice that the majority of pictures that Ciara had used in her profile contained our mutual friend Emma and Trent found it strange that we hadn’t bumped into each other at a party or gathering of Emma’s. Only a small introduction was needed as Emma’s birthday was a couple of days away and we looked forward to meeting each other there. We met at the party and shortly after started to date.
How did they pop the question?
In May 2022 we hired a Campervan for 10 days and made our way down the Northern NSW coastline staying overnight in a few locations. On this is the trip Trent proposed. On our first night, we stayed at the Broken Head Holiday Park and Trent had been for a wonderful surf in the morning. It was a crisp sunny day and after breakfast, Trent decided to make his move while Ciara was showering and grabbed the ring and take it out on the beach. Trent found a nice log to sit on and messaged Ciara to come to enjoy the morning before we packed and took off to our next destination. Ciara saw Trent on the beach and walked over and sat down beside him. After a bit of unrelated conversation, Trent took the ring from behind the log and proposed on the beach. Ciara said yes and we continued on our holiday enjoying time together newly engaged.
