We actually used to work together at Subway as teenagers.
We went away for our anniversary, and first family holiday to JW Marriot. I wasn’t one for a big proposal or anything in front of people, so Alex had our room upgraded and decorated in rose petals with a desert reading Will you marry me in chocolate. I wandered into the room, and read the little sign to find Alex behind me on one knee. It was perfect.
I had a really good idea of what I wanted for most things, so I wasn’t too stressed. I had a great team of people to lean on for advice and tips which helped make everything easier.

Be sure to have 5-10 min with your girls after getting ready to really soak it all in m, and do that same at your receptions with your new husband/wife. Looking back this was one of my highlights. But also have fun, the day goes so quickly so be present and enjoy yourself.

She said yes.
