How did he pop the question?
Every year for our anniversary we had a tradition that we’d watch the sunrise. So, on 1 December 2018, Sam planned a picnic up at Mt Coot-Tha and popped the question at dawn. Little did I know, he had also planned a surprise engagement party with our friends and family for that night!

Your biggest tip to any couple getting married?
If you can, have a ‘Recovery’ the next day. It was fantastic being able to sit, talk and spend time with everyone that we may not have gotten a chance to speak to at the wedding. Plus – it extends the party!
