How did they propose?
We had been living out of state and locked out of Queensland due to COVID and Joey wanted to make sure we were able to celebrate with family and friends.
As soon as the border opened Joey planned a surprise picnic at One Tree Hill in Maleny and proposed there.
What song was your first dance?
Hold my Girl by George Ezra.
Your words of wisdom to any couple getting married?
Definitely consider getting a wedding planner, especially if you’re someone who gets stressed easily.
We hired Arctic Fox for styling, florals, furniture hire etc- but in hindsight, it would have been great to have a planner for the whole process. Also, trust your gut when it comes to vendors – you want a team you trust and feel comfortable with on the day.
What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
It’s hard to choose one moment as it is all such a blur! The day goes so quickly.
